Prices for cut-outs are based on a minimum of 10 images per order. That might be 10 products or, for example, five products requiring two images for each. For fewer than 10 images, a higher rate will apply to help cover shooting setup and admin time. Got hundreds of products needing cut-outs? High volume discounts may apply, depending on the nature of your requirements.
Costs to return items
No charge if client collects items after shoot. If we need to book a courier or Royal Mail, there is a £4 flat handling fee plus the exact cost of the courier service.
In-Situ, Lifestyle and Location Photography
Large cut-out subjects for in-situ shooting

We shoot furniture in the studio and on locations, such as hired properties or at a client’s shop premises or warehouse. The logistics of this varies considerably, so these shoots are costed on an individual basis.
Product lifestyle photography

Subjects that can be shot in our studio or on location with a setting and props need planning time in addition to shoot time. Props can be purchased or hired either by the client or us in advance. This kind of setup needs careful styling, and it can be undertaken with the client or stylist in attendance or available remotely for quick feedback.
Architecture and interiors
from £350+vat half day / £600+vat full day
Location photography is charged on a half-day or full-day basis rather than pricing for individual images, with a typical day’s shoot taking in multiple angles, and a range of scope and detail shots.
Though priced for the time on site, the rate will include basic post-production time after the shoot to adjust tone and colour for consistency, and to sharpen for high-res web or print use.
The client is expected to prepare the site in advance, removing unwanted clutter and litter. Advanced post-production time to remove unwanted elements (e.g. cables and fixed objects that can’t be physically moved out of shot) is charged at £50+vat per hour.
Lifestyle scenes
from £350+vat half day / £600+vat full day plus possible extra costs for models, props and stylists
Lifestyle photography may involve extra props and extra people to help with styling the scene. It may also include people in the scene who are posing for the shots, but not actually looking like they are posing. Such people might be yourself and your staff, or they might be models hired specifically for the shoot.
Payment terms
An invoice will be issued by Blue Island Media within a few days of job completion. Payment is due immediately; we do not offer credit.
